Classic Velo Cycling

Classic Velo is dedicated to vintage and vintage-inspired bicycles. Specifically, I enjoy building high performance bikes with either vintage period correct frames/forks/parts or vintage-inspired bikes with a mix of vintage and more modern components. My specialty is curating and building high performance bicycles to participate in vintage events such as L'Eroica in Italy.

I've successfully taken part in L'Eroica a total of 5 times (4 times in Gaiole in Chianti, Italy and once in California).  

I have direct experience in riding vintage-inspired bikes daily, and I can offer advice on:

• Shoes and cleats

• Pedals, toe clips and straps

• Tires and tubes

• Gearing

• Saddles

• Clothing

This is not a business or money making venture for me. I ride a quiver of vintage style bikes daily, and I'm happy to share my first hand experience and knowledge with anyone who is interested.

L'Eroica in Italy is a Bucket List experience.  But the ride is no joke. If you're going to spend the money to participate, you should at the very least give yourself every advantage to maximize your enjoyment of this amazing event with it's unique atmosphere and beautiful location.
